The Diane L. Parker Educational Resource Fund is a year old today. I remember asking someone from Diane's church for a purple ribbon during her home going service and she refused to give me one because she stated that I wasn't a Domestic Violence victim. Only women wear purple ribbons. When the one you love, whether they are directly or indirectly connected to you loses their lives to such a senseless act of violence, everyone is affected by the tragedy. During the home going service, I texted my graphic artist an idea of how I wanted to preserve the memory and legacy of Diane and thus, her fund was created. RIP "Darla" your big brother loves you. Your living will not be in vain! www.gofundme.com/DianesDVScholarship
