Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get involved?
TEAM ADV-Ance is predicated on the idea that there is strength in numbers, and that collectively we have the power to help other women and girls to live their dreams. Throughout history, and in every country throughout the world, women and girls face obstacles and discrimination solely because of their gender.
TEAM ADV-Ance offers several ways you can help women and girls. Options include helping a woman who is trying to go back to school. Or passing out teen dating violence or sex trafficking information. Another choice is to learn more about issues facing women and girls, and then advocate to improve conditions. Your involvement depends on where your passions lie, and how our opportunities fit your schedule. TEAM ADV-Ance help extend the impact and reach of these programs to benefit more women and girls, as well as men and boys.
What are the time and financial requirements?
There are absolutely no time or financial requirements to join TEAM ADV-Ance. The choice about how involved you want to be is up solely up to YOU. We are here to encourage you to make a difference in any way we can. There is no cost to join the community. Some opportunities to become involved do suggest distributing materials, which are available for purchase. General donations/investments, which are strictly voluntary, can be made to help support our efforts
Are there any age or other restrictions?
No. Anyone—male or female—can join TEAM ADV-Ance. If you are under 18, please check with your parents first. The only requirement is a desire to support women and girls in their efforts to live a better quality of life to help pursue their dreams.
How do I get started?

When I look at this picture and listen to what TEAM ADV-Ance represents all I see and hear is ONE. I hear a ministry saying that I am your mother, your father, your aunt, your uncle, your cousin, your grandparent, your son, your daughter, etc.. Not only am I those things but I am also you. I was the victim, I am the survivor which made makes me the victor. The cassette tape represents one side (TEAM ADV-Ance), the other side represents (the Survivor). Together we make one hit record...one hit song. That together we will work to bring an end to domestic violence. No matter which side you play, the same message plays loudly...Victory."
